Prosthetist, Orthotist

Employment Type & Contract Period: Project-based employment under an initial fixed-term contract of one year, with the possibility of renewal based on project requirements and performance.

Position Overview

• Core Objectives: Support clinical operations, digital workflows, workflow standardization, and training of local staff.
• Collaboration & Mobility: Work alongside hospitals, NGOs, and global teams, with potential short-term international travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical & Technical Support: Deliver training on 3D scanning/CAD, mentor local staff, and manage direct patient care (assessment, fitting, follow-up).
• Operations & Localization: Coordinate stakeholders, manage project schedules, maintain clinical records, and localize workflows for Ukrainian patients.

Technical & Clinical Duties

• Clinical Tasks: Perform patient assessments, residual limb measurements, 3D scanning, alignment adjustments, and gait evaluations.
• Manufacturing & IT Tasks: Handle 3D print data processing, printer operations, inventory support, and work within the Instalimb ONE software.

Qualifications

• Required Standards: Must hold an ISPO Category III or higher qualification (or min. 2 years of practical experience) along with basic PC skills.
• Preferred Assets & Languages: Experience with BK/AK prostheses or digital CAD workflows; English proficiency qualifies candidates for a higher salary band.

Human Study Training Requirement

• Training Program: Candidates may be required to participate in ISPO Category 2 Training programs conducted by Human Study.
• Purpose: Serves to advance project standardization and local workforce development within the country.

Working Conditions & Benefits

• Schedule & Compensation: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM — 6:00 PM; salary ranges from USD 800−1,200/month (without English) up to USD 1,200−2,500/month (with English).
• Contract Details: Employment arranged through an EOR structure with a 3-month probation and paid leave according to Ukrainian labor law.

• Ethics & Data Protection: Strict adherence to patient safety principles, protection of medical information, and compliance with anti-corruption policies.
• Emergency Response: Compliance with facility safety protocols and cooperation with emergency measures related to war and disaster response.
