Position Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations and accounting functions. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the strategic financial management of the organization. This role combines the responsibilities of a Finance Manager with those of a Chief Accountant, making it essential for the candidate to have strong time managerial skills and extensive financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, including P&L and ad hoc reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements for legal entities in the UK, Slovakia, Poland, and Ukraine (with possible changes in the number of legal entities in the future)
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Calculate salaries for employees in different countries and ensure timely processing of payroll, including deductions and benefits administration.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments and external providers to ensure financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate work of junior colleagues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA,CMA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 3−5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
• Experience in payroll processing and employee compensation management.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Effective communication skills.
• English language (B1-B2).
• Building professional relations with accounting and finance providers and employees.
• Basic knowledge of crypto currencies (fulfilling exchanges and transfers).
