Dispatcher (US Freight Market)

As a Freight Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the logistics of full and partial truckloads. You will be responsible for managing freight booking to ensure profit maximization, efficient routing, timely deliveries, and optimal resource utilization to meet client needs and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage freight booking operations to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries, while optimizing resource utilization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to enhance collaboration and smooth logistics processes.
• Establish and evaluate shipping lanes to optimize costs and improve service levels, ensuring alignment with client requirements and market conditions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, clients, and internal teams, facilitating clear communication regarding load status, delivery times, and any potential issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other relevant documents.
• Address and resolve any challenges that arise during the dispatch process, such as delays, driver inquiries, or customer concerns.
• Utilize tracking software and systems to monitor shipments in real-time, ensuring timely updates are communicated to all stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring their logistics needs are met effectively.
• Work closely with other dispatchers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and efficient load handling.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in dispatching is a MUST.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
