About the Role

We’re looking for an innovative AI Automation QA Engineer who is passionate about leveraging Artificial Intelligence to transform software testing. This role goes beyond traditional QA automation—you will use AI-powered tools to design, generate, maintain, and optimize test coverage across our SaaS platform.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Customer Success teams to ensure every feature delivers an exceptional user experience while continuously improving the speed and quality of our testing processes.

In This Role, You Will

• Design comprehensive test strategies for our SaaS web application.
• Write clear, maintainable, and scalable test cases using AI-assisted workflows.
• Leverage AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar technologies) to accelerate test design, automation, and maintenance.
• Build and maintain automated UI, API, and end-to-end test suites.
• Develop automated tests using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Create and execute API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify regression risks and ensure critical business workflows remain fully covered.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI-powered testing tools and automation best practices.
• Improve testing efficiency by reducing manual testing through intelligent automation.

To Excel in This Role, You Need

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
• Experience testing modern web applications and SaaS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Programming experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another object-oriented language.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices.
• Experience writing maintainable automated test suites from scratch.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity and automate repetitive tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and process improvement.

Brownie Points For

• Experience with AI-powered testing platforms (Testim, Mabl, Functionize, Momentic, KaneAI, or similar).
• Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate test cases, automation scripts, or testing documentation.
• Experience with visual regression testing.
• Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
• Experience with contract testing or API mocking tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser testing.
• Contributions to open-source QA or automation projects.
• Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a passion for continuously improving software quality through intelligent automation.
