SMM specialist

We are looking for a SMM Specialist to manage daily content, online presence, and reputation work for a chimney service company based in Philadelphia, USA.

This role is for someone who can do the actual work, not only plan strategy. The right person should be able to create content, improve business profiles, manage review platforms, and use AI tools in a practical way to produce better content faster.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in SMM, content creation, digital marketing, online reputation management, or a similar role.
• Strong written English is required, as the work is for a U.S. home-service company.
• Creative and strategic mindset, with the ability to understand the bigger picture, bring useful ideas, learn quickly, and take ownership of their work.
• Proven ability to use AI tools in a practical and advanced way to create better content faster, including content ideas, writing, image generation, video scripts, editing support, and content improvement.
• Good understanding of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Yelp, Nextdoor, and similar local business/review platforms.
• Good eye for how a business should look online, including profiles, photos, videos, reviews, descriptions, trust signals, and consistency.
• Ability to write clear, natural, professional content and help produce simple video content, including posts, captions, short texts, video scripts, Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, and social media clips.
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Experience with home services, local businesses, reputation management, video content, or review platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve the company’s online presence across social media and local service platforms.
• Create and publish content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Use AI tools to support daily content work, including captions, posts, ideas, video scripts, and short-form video content.
• Keep business profiles updated, professional, and consistent.
• Manage review platforms such as Yelp, Nextdoor, and similar websites.
• Monitor reviews, prepare professional replies, and help improve the company’s online reputation.
• Suggest content ideas based on completed jobs, customer reviews, chimney services, seasonal needs, local homeowner concerns, and before/after work.
• Improve profile descriptions, service information, photos, videos, and other trust-building details.
• Track basic activity and report what was done each week.
