About the role Qwed is a design and web development agency delivering UX/UI and WordPress projects for international clients. We’re looking for a Lead Generation Manager to own our Upwork pipeline — finding the right projects, writing proposals that win, and booking qualified calls. Your focus isn’t design or development; it’s keeping a steady flow of quality leads coming in so the team stays busy with the right kind of work, most of it UX/UI with some WordPress.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor Upwork daily for relevant UX/UI and WordPress projects and apply quickly to strong fits
  • Write tailored, persuasive proposals (no copy-paste templates) that match each client’s brief
  • Qualify leads: filter out low-budget or poor-fit jobs, prioritize serious clients
  • Book discovery calls and hand off warm, qualified leads to the team
  • Manage and optimize the Upwork profile: catalog entries, response time, job-success signals
  • Track outreach and conversion (applications sent, replies, calls booked, win rate)
  • Suggest improvements to positioning, pricing hooks, and messaging based on what’s converting

What we’re looking for

  • Proven lead generation experience on Upwork (agency or freelance context)
  • Strong written English (B1) — proposals need to read clearly and persuasively
  • Understanding of UX/UI and WordPress services enough to speak to them credibly in proposals
  • Sharp judgment for spotting good clients and avoiding time-wasters
  • Organized, self-managing, and consistent with daily outreach
  • Comfortable with metrics and reporting on pipeline performance
  • Nice to have: experience with Behance/Dribbble/LinkedIn outreach, familiarity with Upwork’s algorithm, CRM or tracking tools

Details

  • Remote, flexible hours
  • Freelance / contract — base + bonus per closed lead or project is negotiable
  • Ongoing role with room to grow as the pipeline scales
  • Paid vacation: 18 work days (don't count Sat-Sun) — 10 days of paid sick leave — $300 per year for your personal development.
