Your Role and Impact
We are looking for a Head of Business Controlling to lead our Business Controlling and Financial Planning function.
In this role, you will drive the digitalization, transformation, and strategic evolution of the department. Serving as the primary Finance Business Partner to commercial and operational leadership, you will go beyond traditional metric tracking to directly optimize costs, evaluate complex investments, and act as a key strategic partner to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
FP&A
- Leading the full cycle of business planning and performance analysis across the company.
- Working Capital & FCF Management
- ROIC management & value creation —developing and coordinating initiatives aimed at accelerating ROIC growth.
- Preparation of required management reporting for the management teams and shareholders
Commercial Controlling
- Commercial Business Partnering —supporting profitable growth decisions
- Revenue & Profitability Analysis — detailed analysis of top line dynamics, product profitability dynamics.
- Commercial Activation & Marketing Efficiency — evaluating the effectiveness of commercial activations, controlling marketing spend, and providing financial justification for innovations, and business development projects.
- Governance & Decision Support — active participation in Commercial Committees; developing ROIC-linked KPIs for Sales and Marketing functions.
Operations Controlling
- Operations Business Partnering —supporting efficient decisions in Operations (Technical dpt, Procurement and Supply Chain).
- Operations costs management — detailed forecasting and analysing of operations costs, supporting productivity projects.
- Working Capital — forecasting and analysing inventory dynamics and accounts payables, actively participating in optimisation initiatives.
- CAPEX & ROIC — financial justification of CAPEX projects, and joint development of Operations ROIC-linked KPIs.
Governance & Standardization
- Establish a unified controlling framework, financial models, KPIs, and best practices across the Group.
Leadership
- Lead and develop the Business Controlling function, managing high-performing FP&A, Commercial, and Operational Controlling teams.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: 6−10 years of progressive Finance experience, including 3−5 years in an FP&A / Controlling leadership or Finance Business Partnering role within a complex corporate environment.
- Transformation Track Record: Proven experience building or transforming Finance functions and systems (prior experience as a CFO in a smaller-scale company is a plus).
- Business Acumen: Strong background as a Finance Business Partner to commercial and/or operations leadership with an ability to translate financial data into strategic execution.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in complex B2C, FMCG, or Telecom sectors is highly preferred.
- Tech Skills: Advanced financial modelling; solid ERP proficiency (SAP / Oracle); experience with Power BI / Tableau is an asset.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
