About Us

Most people who start learning a language as adults spend months inside an app and still cannot say much. They collect streaks, memorise words, and try to guess the rules from examples, because nobody ever explained how the language actually works. Children learn by pure exposure and by making mistakes for years. Adults do not have years, and they do not learn the same way.

Rendi is a mobile app trying to change that. Our charter is to put the explanation back into language learning. We explain how the language works first, practise it second, and carry the whole course on a single continuous story with its own characters, so that learners return to it the way they return to a series rather than to a textbook.

Type of work:

• Early-stage mobile product in preparation for release on iOS

• Release planning: holding the full picture of what must be done, in what order, and by when
• Sourcing and managing external contributors across content, video and testing
• Product prioritisation together with the founders
• Organisation of testing and processing of user feedback
• Remote work directly with the founding team, no management layers

Requirements:

• Drive and initiative: the ability to see what needs doing and start without being told
• Experience taking a project from an unfinished state to release, including planning, sequencing and tracking
• Practical experience finding, briefing and managing external contributors: content authors, video creators, testers
• Ability to define what to build next from user needs rather than from a feature list
• Experience organising product testing: recruiting testers, running sessions, converting feedback into a concrete change list
• Ability to work from a problem statement rather than a task list
• Clear written communication: plans, briefs, findings
• Basic understanding of product metrics such as conversion and retention
• Experience in education technology, mobile products or content production is an advantage

Communication:

• English. Ability to read professional material, write and speak with contractors and testers abroad
• Ukrainian or Russian for daily work with the founders
