Role Overview

Our client base is heavily focused on home service providers (plumbers, HVAC, electricians, landscapers, etc.), primarily operating in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

We need a Google Ads expert who understands the nuances of local lead generation. You will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling campaigns that drive phone calls and form submissions for our local service clients. Because this role requires precise measurement of success, high-level expertise in conversion tracking and data reporting is absolutely essential.

Responsibilities

• Campaign Management: Build, launch, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Local Services Ads, Performance Max, and Retargeting) tailored for home service providers.
• Local Targeting: Leverage your understanding of local markets, specifically in the US Pacific Northwest, to target the right neighborhoods, cities, and demographics.
• Conversion Tracking: Set up, test, and troubleshoot advanced conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and call-tracking software to ensure every lead is accurately attributed.
• Reporting & Analytics: Generate clear, actionable, and easy-to-understand reports for clients and internal team members, highlighting key metrics like Cost Per Lead (CPL), ROI, and Conversion Rate.
• Continuous Optimization: Perform regular keyword research, negative keyword pruning, ad copy A/B testing, and bid adjustments to maximize client budgets.

Requirements

• Language Skills: High proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required to write compelling ad copy and communicate effectively with the team.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated success managing Google Ads for local businesses, with a strong preference for experience in the home services niche.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, GTM, and conversion tracking mechanics.
• Market Awareness: A solid understanding of local search behavior and geography, particularly in the US Pacific Northwest market.
• Self-Driven: Ability to work autonomously on a per-project basis, meet deadlines, and take ownership of campaign performance

Compensation

We believe in rewarding performance. Pay will be structured as a percentage-based model (tied to ad spend or performance), or a fixed rate per project that can be negotiated based on your experience and the specific client scope.
