Supply Chain Specialist

Sumix develops and manufactures opto-electronic equipment for fiber-optic connector inspection and measurement.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Kyiv office and support purchasing, suppliers, inventory, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Request and compare quotations from local and international suppliers.
• Place and track purchase orders and follow up on delivery dates.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and shipments.
• Search for new suppliers and alternative components.
• Monitor inventory and help prevent material shortages.
• Coordinate shipments and prepare purchasing and shipping documentation.
• Maintain supplier, purchasing, and inventory information in the ERP system.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, production, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1−3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain is preferred.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good knowledge of Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English for communication with international suppliers.
• Ability to work regularly from our Kyiv office.

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing or technical company.
• Experience working with international suppliers.
• Basic knowledge of import/export and international shipping.
