HVAC Estimator (Residential New Construction)

Central Heating & Cooling is a family-owned HVAC company based in North Carolina. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to prepare estimates for new residential construction projects in the United States.

This is a long-term, fully remote position offering consistent work, professional development, and daily collaboration with our U.S.-based team.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Wrightsoft is required.
• Experience performing residential HVAC load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, ductwork, equipment, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Advanced professional English, including confident spoken and written communication.
• Ability to participate confidently in daily Zoom meetings conducted in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
• Reliable internet access.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience estimating residential new-construction projects in the United States is strongly preferred.

Work conditions:

• Fully remote position available to candidates throughout Ukraine.
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Employees will work an eight-hour shift scheduled within our 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Eastern Time business hours. This is approximately within the 2:00 p.m.-midnight window in Ukraine. The exact schedule will be agreed upon in advance.
• Competitive hourly compensation equivalent to approximately 80,000−110,000 UAH per month, or approximately $1,800-$2,400 USD, based on a 40-hour workweek.
• The final rate will depend on HVAC estimating experience, English proficiency, and Wrightsoft expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate HVAC estimates for new residential construction projects.
• Perform HVAC calculations using Wrightsoft.
• Complete load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Review blueprints, floor plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Calculate required materials, equipment, and labor.
• Prepare complete proposals and bid packages for builders and general contractors.
• Communicate with builders, contractors, vendors, and internal teams regarding project scope, revisions, pricing, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, purchasing, and field operations.
• Ensure a smooth transition of awarded projects from estimating to production.
• Identify value-engineering and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain organized project files, bid records, and estimating documentation.
• Stay current on equipment and material pricing, manufacturer requirements, building codes, and industry trends.
• Participate in daily Zoom meetings and remain available for real-time team communication during scheduled working hours.
