Retoucher, Post-Production Artist

We are looking for a Retoucher / Post-Production Artist to join our 3D visualization studio and work mainly with product and architectural renders.

Most of the work will be related to 3D renders of products, interiors, exteriors, materials, furniture, objects, and commercial visuals.

You will work with final renders, improve their visual quality, prepare different visual options, adjust colors and lighting, clean up artifacts, integrate backgrounds, and use AI tools to speed up and improve the post-production process.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Post-processing 3D product and architectural renders
• Color correction using Curves, Levels, Hue/Saturation, Selective Color etc.
• Working with masks, adjustment layers, smart objects, groups, and non-destructive editing
• Cleaning up render artifacts, rough edges, noise, dirty masks, over-sharpening, or unnatural colors
• Improving textures and materials visually while keeping them realistic
• Background replacement and natural integration into the render
• Creating and editing alternative visual options, for example siding, railing, materials, colors, or details
• Preparing clean and organized PSD files with clearly named editable layers
• Matching the style, color balance, contrast, brightness, and mood of provided references
• Making a series of images look visually consistent
• Using AI tools for:
  • upscaling images
  • generating visual references
  • improving textures locally
  • replacing or extending backgrounds
  • fixing small visual issues
  • supporting post-production workflow

Important specifics of the role

The work is mostly with renders, not photos of people.

You should be comfortable working with large batches of images. Some projects may include 100−200 renders, so attention to consistency, speed, file organization, and quality control is very important.

The goal is not just to «make it pretty», but to make the render look clean, realistic, visually balanced, and consistent with the client’s reference or brand style.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong Photoshop skills
• Confident work with color correction
• Good understanding of light, shadow, contrast, color balance, and realistic image integration
• Experience with masks, smart objects, adjustment layers, and organized PSD files
• Ability to follow references and match a required visual style
• Attention to details and ability to notice artifacts, unnatural colors, poor edges, or inconsistency between images
• Basic understanding of AI tools for image enhancement and post-production
• Ability to work with large image volumes without losing consistency
• English level B1 or higher — enough to understand tasks, references, comments, and basic communication

Will be a plus

• Experience with product render retouching
• Knowledge of tools like Magnific AI, Krea, Photoshop Generative Fill, Topaz, Midjourney, ComfyUI, or similar
• Basic experience with InDesign or layout preparation
• Understanding of 3D visualization pipeline
