My fundamental aspect of the job is to keep navigational watch on the Bridge or inside
the Cargo Control Room during cargo operations and maintain the safety and fire-fighting
equipment.
Language I assist the Captain in preparing essential paperwork, including drills, port documents,
extra allotments, inventories, reports and in charge of the vessel’s slop chest. I can be
assigned on deck during mooring operations, depending on the Master’s discretion.
English B2 I assist the Chief Officer with supervising and organizing cargo operations while the vessel
is in port. Take an hourly rate of loading/ discharging progress. Assist the Chief Officer

during ullaging or tank inspection. Follow the Chief Officer’s and Master’s standing orders
