I had the honor of working in the content marketing department of Pure, one of the most well-known dating apps. Our team successfully promoted the app in both US and CIS markets through our online magazine, pure.dating, which covered topics related to dating, sex, and relationships. The American version of the project reached an impressive audience of 200,000 monthly visitors, while the Russian-language project, launched in March 2020, grew from the ground up to 80,000 monthly visitors within just two months. The success of the project can be attributed to the high-quality and engaging SEO articles and special projects created by my team, even without the use of backlinks. Throughout my time in this role, my duties included:
- editing articles received from 6 authors;
- communication with all remote authors, content manager, and two SEO specialists;
- development of new interesting types of content, searching for relevant topics;
- writing 3 articles per week with special quality requirements;
- checking the posted articles;
- drafting and updating the editors’ policy, content plans, technical specifications for designers;
-conducting interviews with new authors, checking test articles, onboarding, etc.;
In general, I fully managed the Russian edition and assisted the editor-in-chief with the English version of the magazine on minor assignments.
