Job responsibilities as the Leading telecommunications engineer in Joint Stock Company Utel:
• Management control of 5ESS toll exchanges; providing technical support to the exchanges; operation and
maintenance consulting; interaction with a equipment supplier company, which was a Lucent
Technologies, as a member of Utel's OMC support group, partially being its coordinator.
• Administration and maintenance of the Network Fault Management (NFM) system (HP-UX platform) that
monitors work of 5ESS switches.
• Administration of CISCO routers used in providing X.25 connections from the switches to the monitoring
equipment over TCP/IP protocol.
• Introducing new software releases, hardware modernizations of 5ESS switches and NFM system, LAN and
WAN equipment:
 Expertise of the corresponding contracts and acceptance tests procedures;
 Taking part in acceptance tests and objects commissioning;

 Deployed and introduced new methods of alarms control on NFM system coming from switching
