the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where I specialise in operating unmanned aerial systems for
reconnaissance and combat, alongside expertise in radio-electronic warfare systems. I’m

●​ Operate a variety of unmanned aerial systems including reconnaissance drones,
kamikaze FPV drones, and hexacopter drones, to support frontline operations.
●​ Conduct real-time aerial surveillance and reconnaissance missions to identify enemy
positions, equipment, and movements, ensuring timely intelligence for battlefield
decision making.
●​ Deploy FPV kamikaze drones for precision strikes on high-value targets and infantry,
effectively neutralising threats and supporting offensive operations.
●​ Utilize hexacopter Kazhan/Vampire drones for heavy payload missions, such as
delivering supplies, deploying equipment, or conducting specialised combat tasks.
●​ Operate radio-electronic warfare (REB) systems to jam enemy drones, disrupting

Logit.io is a leading provider of logs and metrics as a service, enabling businesses to offload
the complexity and cost of managing their own observability infrastructure. In this role, I
was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s core infrastructure, which
included ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stacks, Grafana for visualisation, and
monitoring and alerting systems. My work focused on improving system reliability,
scalability, and deployment processes to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.

In this role, I was immersed in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment,
working alongside some of the most skilled professionals in the Linux and open-source
software communities. This position provided me with a unique opportunity to rapidly
develop my expertise in devops practices, database management, and enterprise software
platforms, despite the company’s UK branch entering administration shortly after I joined.
I gained new and essential skills in Linux server management, Bash/Python/Perl scripting,
automation with Ansible, and management of large highly available PostgreSQL database
clusters. My short time at Credativ is solely responsible for the long and successful career I
built for myself as a Linux and open-source software expert for many years after.

Cloud Engineer, Offsite Servers Limited
January 2014 – May 2016 – Birmingham, UK

I first joined Offsite Servers as an apprentice and quickly settled into a first line Windows
support role where I gained invaluable customer support and diagnostics skills. Day to day
activities included answering customer phone calls and emails, responding to help desk
tickets and escalating where necessary. In this role I primarily dealt with resolving issues on
both Microsoft Windows desktop and server platforms.
