Description

B2B project, multienvironment infrastructure needed to be created from scratch for the
application being developed and migrate an existing one with its database, a step-by-step
plan was created according to which the infrastructure was developed. Terraform was used
to create the infrastructure, as it is one of the best options for IaC services. Development of
CI/CD processes in GitLab CI to automate deployment of existing application and one under
development. AWS services that were used in the infrastructure: AWS EC2, AWS VPC,
AWS Route53, AWS S3, AWS CLI, AWS EKS, AWS ECR, AWS ACM, AWS Cloudfront,
AWS SES.

Description
Designing proper CI/CD process for refactoring a commercial monolithic app on Windows to
Microservices which use Docker on Linux; implement and document the workflow. Building
using GitHubActions to build containers and store in Git Container reg. Create a design for
the workflow, branch naming, PR behavior, Merge criteria, Signoff in a Miro diagram.
Creating these elements in Github after agreement. Project includes documentation of the
result, provisioning and testing the workflow in Github, and ad hoc training after it's all in
place.

Recrd - AWS infrastructure support, DevOps

Description

A media project where it was necessary to resolve issues of setting up AWS and Kubernetes
using Terraform and Kustomize. Worked independently or in collaboration with developers
as problems arose. Maintained daily contact with developers and regular contact with our
suppliers. I actively looked for optimization points in backups, log collection, and monitoring.
Migrating the existing infrastructure to Terraform (at the previous stage, the infrastructure
was created manually) and creating a new one. Creating additional AWS EKS clusters that
matched the required development environments. Creating additional development
environments for organizing a comprehensive approach to CI/CD processes (Github
actions). Logging and monitoring of services (Prometheus + grafana, Datadog) organization.
Development of own Kubernetes Kustomize files for a more complex process of deploying
new services to a Kubernetes cluster (AWS EKS). Work with the integration of services
related to payments and data archiving to reduce the load on services and optimize the load
on the network. I also worked with database backups and the development of their migration
logic.
