Responsibilities:
• Specified and directed end-to-end delivery of a desktop shipment-management tool (Python/pywebview) for a working freight forwarder handling consolidated cargo
transiting the Port of Constanța — tracking every shipment from terminal dwell-time (demurrage risk) through document completeness, LLM-based translation, and client
payment status, cutting document package preparation time from ~60 minutes to ~5 minutes.
• Owned the full BA artifact chain end-to-end — Product Vision, Roadmap, BRD (6 business requirements traced through 31 functional requirement IDs), MoSCoW, 22 Gherkin
User Stories, RTM, Test Plan/Test Cases, and a business-outcome UAT Acceptance scoped separately from functional testing — continuously re-validated against real client
shipment documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Built a working HTML/JS prototype ahead of formal specs, running live demo-and-feedback sessions with the stakeholder to validate scope before committing it to a BRD
— a deliberate code-first sequence that surfaced real requirement changes (translation scope narrowed to one column, new Packing List grouping logic) earlier than a spec-
first process would have.
• Directed 2 architecture pivots based on live production feedback — migrating the tool from a browser prototype to a standalone desktop application, then splitting the
backend into isolated service modules — and diagnosed 20+ real defects surfaced through live use (data-loss on restart, silent save failures, rate-limit handling), each logged
with root cause for auditability.
• Applied 10+ years of hands-on customs/freight-forwarding domain expertise (Incoterms-driven document requirements, demurrage risk, document classification) to define
business rules the tool enforces automatically, moving missing-document detection from post-departure discovery to before pickup.
• Authored the product's visual and technical documentation — BPMN-style AS-IS/TO-BE process diagrams, Architecture and Sequence diagrams (Mermaid), and a
standalone API Integration Spec (authentication, rate limits, error-handling matrix, retry policy) for the tool's LLM/Groq integration — closing a gap common in BA practice,
where process flow and API integrations are built but left undocumented.

Responsibilities:
• Elicited business requirements over two structured stakeholder interviews with the channel owner and a domain expert, translating informal input into a formal
requirement set for a US auto-import (Copart/IAA) customs and delivery advisory platform.
• Owned product definition end-to-end: authored Product Vision and elevator pitch, defined the 3-phase roadmap, and produced the full BA artifact set — BRD, Gap Analysis
with AS-IS/TO-BE process diagram, MoSCoW-prioritized backlog, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Validated calculator logic against real auction invoices, identifying and closing critical pricing gaps (missing service and environmental fees, engine-volume duty thresholds,
body-type freight surcharges) before public launch.
• Defined and secured customer sign-off on an OKR/KPI framework (North Star Metric, Activation Metric, Accuracy Rate) to measure MVP success.
• Designed and built a static HTML prototype of the future company website (Stage 2, ahead of schedule) — hero section with a live calculator preview, 3-step explainer,
service cards for US import / Romania customs / container freight, and two separate lead-capture forms (car pricing vs. container shipping) — to validate direction with the
customer before committing development effort.
• Authored a 16-case UAT test plan and used the RTM to track delivery status end-to-end.
• Maintained requirement traceability and cross-artifact consistency across the BRD, Product Vision, MoSCoW, Gap Analysis, and RTM through multiple review cycles as
scope evolved.
• Specified and shipped an AI-powered feature (LLM-based auto-news summarization): identified a content-attribution risk before build and resolved a vendor cost trade-off,
switching the LLM backend from a paid API to a free-tier provider to keep the MVP budget-neutral.
• Authored the product's first system architecture diagram (15+ modules, external integrations, data storage) to close a documented gap in the BA artifact set, and used it to
surface a real infrastructure constraint that is now driving a hosting migration decision.
• Authored a UML Activity diagram to root-cause a recurring production defect — client messages silently dropped with no bot reply — tracing it to an overloaded decision
node in the single message-handling entry point; the fix was deployed the same day.
