Due to my Organizational and leadership skills I was able to operate as a Technical Service Department Officer(supervisor) and I carried out the following responsibilities:

1. Perform accurate and thorough diagnostics on light vehicles to identify mechanical issues before repair work is initiated.

2. Supervise and manage all mechanical repairs on light vehicles, ensuring that they are performed efficiently and within budget.

3. Ensure that vehicle repairs are carried out at minimal costs by managing parts procurement, and labor costs, and avoiding unnecessary repairs.

4. Inspect and ensure that all repairs are done to a high standard and that vehicles are safe for operation.

5. Act as the primary liaison between mechanics, drivers, and the TSD department to ensure clear communication of vehicle issues and repair status.

6. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce vehicle breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.

7. Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used for each vehicle.

8. Ensure all mechanical work complies with safety standards and regulations.

9. Manage the inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring timely procurement of necessary items.

10. Identify opportunities to improve vehicle maintenance processes and reduce costs while maintaining high repair quality.
