Professional Profile
I am a security and operations specialist with practical experience in working in high-risk environments as part of the
Armed Forces of Ukraine. During my service I performed security risk assessments, prepared incident reports and
security investigations, arranged safe personnel movements and evacuation procedures and ensured the duty of care
for personnel.
I worked in a dynamic environments, collaborating with international partners and applying international security
standards and procedures. I possess skills in coordination, situational awareness, and decision-making under stressful
conditions.
I have experience in logistics, equipment procurement, staff training, and conducting training on security, first aid, and
emergency response.

Security Specialist / Operations Specialist of Armed Forces of Ukraine (2022–2025)

Experience in collaboration with international personnel
I served in International Legion for Defense of Ukraine for 1.5 years. There I was collaborating with volunteers from
various countries like France, Germany, Italy, Poland, other EU countries, UK, USA, Brazil, Columbia, Japan, North
Caucasus countries. I was awarded a departmental commendation medal for outstanding service for that time of
service.

Key competencies acquired during my mission with International Legion for the Defense of Ukraine:
Experience in interpreting between foreign volunteers who spoke English and Ukrainian soldiers who didn't
understand it, so they could work together more effectively;
Experience in translation of various official paperwork, correspondence, memoranda, etc from Ukrainian to
English;
Facilitated effective communication and coordination among representatives from different countries and
departments;
Experience in work according to international safety standards and procedures for high-risk environments
Participation in trainings, workshops, exchanges of expertise with international colleagues;
Participation in planning and executing of joint operations with international volunteers;
Contributed to the planning and execution of joint operations in a multinational environment;

Experience in analytical and operational work
Conducting regular security risk assessments for personnel, facilities, and activities;
Monitoring, analysing, and preparing reports on the security situation in Ukraine to support management
decisions;
Proven experience working in environments with heightened security risks and active hostilities, ensuring the
duty of care for personnel;
Participation in implementing and enforcement of security procedures and SOPs (Standard Operating
Procedures);
Conducted Security Risk Assessments (SRA) and participated in operational planning in high-risk environments;
Prepared structured incident reports, including records of personnel casualties (KIA/WIA) and property losses/
damage;
Preparation of detailed incident reports, including but not limited with toolbox talks, briefs, spreadsheets. Memos
were made with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Docs. Communication and memos spreading via Teams,
SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive;
Planning and coordination of logistic and evacuation routes, ensuring the safe and efficient movements of
personnel;
Preparation of After-Action Reviews (AAR) to assess missions outcomes and to improve the effectiveness of next
missions;
Procurement and tracking of critical supplies (medicine, PPE) from officials and volunteer sources;
Coordination of personnel deployment and transfer of personnel in dynamic warfare environment;
Using mapping and situational awareness systems for planning and coordination;
Maintaining of high standards of situation awareness and decision-making under stress;
Experience in emergency evacuation of civilians, their pets, abandoned pets, etc from conflict zone and nearby;
Fire risk assessment, prevention, and incident response in line with established safety protocols and emergency
procedures.

Practical Skills
Identification of explosive objects and participation in demining;
3 years of CLS-level prehospital care providing in accordance with the MARCH-PAWS protocol; in-depth theoretical
knowledge of tactical medicine;
Knowledge of protocols for chemical and radiological contamination procedures;
Extensive experience in evacuating the wounded under critical conditions Experience with operating of various
types of vehicles (ATVs, motorcycles, buggies, motorboats) in challenging conditions;
Mental Health Care and psychological support of personnel in critical situations and distress;
Knowledge and good experience of implementation of ICOVER psychological support protocol in emergencies.

Technical Skills
Competent operator of various communication systems including digital, analog and satellite;
Expirience in operating UAVs such as Mavic, Autel, Matrice, FPV drones;
Proficient expirience in usage of thermal imaging and night vision devices;
Experience in usage of portable electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance equipment, particularly against
UAVs;
Experience in installation and usage of daytime and thermal imaging video surveillance systems.

Instructional experience and staff training
Conducting ASM- and CLS-level pre-medical care training using the MARCH-PAWS protocol, including the Stop the
Bleed course;
Training in the detection of explosive devices and basic safety procedures;
Preparing staff to respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols;
Training staff to write incident reports;
Conducting training on the detection and countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs);
Training on the use of communication equipment and basic communication skills;
Training on the ICOVER psychological protocol.
