Head of Programmes
Polish Humanitarian Action / Kyiv March, 2024 - current
Lead the Country Office programming, overseeing multi-sector humanitarian and recovery programming
across WASH, Shelter/NFI, Protection, Livelihoods, CVA and localisation. Manage a 12-member
programme team across multiple locations, ensuring programme quality, donor compliance and cross-
area coordination. Drafted the PAH Ukraine Programme Strategy 2025–2027, defining strategic
priorities, localisation shift and recovery direction. Oversee a USD 15M+ annual programme portfolio and
lead development of a proposed USD 30M+ cost extension with 20+ partners. Strengthen programme
systems through SOPs, RACI and escalation workflows. Lead proposal design, donor engagement, risk
management and cross-departmental coordination to ensure high-quality delivery.

Grant Management Consultant August, 2023 - March 2024
Polish Humanitarian Action /part-time/ remote
Developed project proposals in line with donor guidelines and PAH programme strategy, ensuring
quality and compliance. Coordinated with programme, MEAL, and operations teams on grant-related
matters, and prepared interim and final reports in accordance with donor requirements. Represented
the organisation in grant-related meetings and managed submissions through platforms including
OneGMS (UN OCHA) and WOD 2021 (Interreg).

Managed crisis response during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine (FEB 2022), leading the programme
team through expansion and scaling operations. Oversaw grant management, including proposal and
report writing, and donor communication. Ensured timely, effective, and compliant project cycle
management. Expanded the Mission’s portfolio with at least five large-scale projects, achieving a
significant programme budget increase, and introduced new sectors of intervention such as Shelter/NFI.

early recovery through capacity building of social care practitioners in Donetska and Luhanska
oblasts, both directly and via an implementing partner. Oversaw all aspects of project
implementation, including grant and project cycle management, and support to MEAL activities.
Contributed to proposal development and submissions through systems such as APPEL.
