I'm a writer and editor with 7+ years of experience across long-form editorial, creative copywriting, content curation, and strategy. I've worked with a fintech startup writing all kinds of marketing copy, done legal research and editorial work for a publishing company, and independently launched and grown small media projects from scratch. My core strength is in complex, voice-driven writing — essays, narrative nonfiction, and editorial work that requires both critical thinking and craft — though I'm equally comfortable being quick and witty when the work calls for it.

Summary of my work
From 2024 to 2025 — Publication Editor at Medium — EVROPA was a Medium publication about European life, travel, and politics. At its peak, the publication was followed by around 1,000 readers. As its founder, I worked with about ten to fifteen active writers whose work I proofread, edited, and published throughout the year.
From 2022 to 2025 — Blog Writer at Medium — When Russia invaded Ukraine, I began writing a personal blog on Medium about the war in Ukraine. For the next three years, I'd become the loudest Ukrainian voice on the platform. I wrote and self-edited hundreds of texts and was often featured by Medium's editors in newsletters and on the front page. Before leaving the platform, I had around 2,000 readers.
From 2019 to 2024 — Content Curator at Medium — My role involved reading, analyzing, and assessing texts published on the platform. I read dozens of texts daily and selected the best pieces for editorial distribution. I also helped in organizing online writing competitions as well as giving editorial advice to publication editors.
From 2018 to 2019 — Content Creator and Editor at EXANTE — I was responsible for producing, translating, and editing every possible content at this company: internal documentation, emails, presentations, newsletters, landing pages, slogans, and other marketing copy. I also contributed to brainstorming and naming new products.
From 2017 to 2018 — Writer and Researcher at Chambers and Partners — My daily routine involved writing emails and conducting phone interviews with lawyers and their clients to gather information for the annually published legal guide. I analyzed collected data, ranked law firms and lawyers, wrote editorial commentary, and prepared research reports for editors.

Education
I hold a first-class bachelor's degree in Law from Lancaster University. My elective modules focused on human rights and political theory.
Beyond traditional education, I spent many years in theatre, studied piano and music theory, attended acrobatics classes, and later found a particular interest in analyzing and reviewing poetry and literary prose.

• I briefly worked as a customer support agent for Google.
• I write fiction, and I am currently trying to publish my war memoir based on my blog texts.
• I am fluent in Ukrainian, English, Russian, and Lithuanian.
