QA PRACTICE & PORTFOLIO

Real-world bug report — Ubisoft account recovery
Found a real server-side defect: an internal redirect duplicated a URL segment (steam-external → steam-external-external), breaking the account-
recovery link with HTTP 404.
Isolated the defect across 8+ environments (Chrome / Edge / OperaGX, incognito, iOS, Android, two laptops) to confirm a server-side cause.
Documented it as a structured bug report and logged it in Jira; the report was accepted and escalated to a specialized team (Case 26429656).

Web testing — e-commerce flow
29 test cases across registration, login, cart and checkout — positive, negative and boundary scenarios — plus a 31-point smoke checklist with an
explicit build acceptance rule.
Found 4 defects, 2 of them Critical: an order is placed with an invalid card number (no payment validation), and a negative quantity produces a
negative line total, subtracting from the order total.

API testing — Postman collection
Full CRUD coverage plus negative scenarios: non-existent ids, invalid data types, empty required fields, response-time assertions.
Documented 3 validation discrepancies as KNOWN ISSUE, keeping the collection green while the defects stay visible instead of hidden.

SQL practice
27 documented queries against a reproducible test database: filtering, aggregate functions, GROUP BY / HAVING, INNER and LEFT JOIN, duplicate
search.
