PROFILE
Food safety, quality and regulatory compliance expert practising approximation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU acquis:
conducting comparative legal (gap) analyses of EU regulations and directives in the SPS and animal-welfare domain, drafting
legislative amendment proposals, and participating in law-making consultations with state authorities and an industry association.
Covering the full agri-food chain – cultivation and production of feed and vegetable oils, keeping of parent flock, production of
hatching eggs, rearing of broiler chickens, processing of poultry meat and animal by-products, and ready-to-eat (RTE) production.
Monitoring regulatory requirements across 80+ countries worldwide, including food information to consumers and technical
regulation (standards, certification, food contact materials). Authoring regulatory analyses, validation studies, risk-analysis
methodologies and recommendations for decision-makers; leading export-market access and supplier-approval readiness
(interstate audits, key-customer acceptance). Practising GFSI standards.

• Forming and maintaining the up-to-date register of Ukrainian and export-country legislative requirements within the integrated
QMS; analysing legal acts across the grain, oilseed & vegetable-oil, compound-feed and poultry-rearing value chains.
• Conducting a gap analysis of Ukrainian animal-welfare legislation against the EU acquis – Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005
(protection of animals during transport), Council Regulation (EC) No 1099/2009, Council Directives 98/58/EC and 2007/43/EC –

requirements, and peer-reviewed scientific literature (EFSA, WHO, WOAH, FAO, EUCAST, NCBI/PubChem and other databases).
• Implementing HACCP at 6 grain elevators in accordance with Order No. 590 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine and
Codex Alimentarius principles.
• Engaging with regulatory authorities, lawmakers and stakeholders on quality and safety of agro-production: initiating requests,
participating in law-making consultations, processing external and internal regulatory enquiries.
• Participating in developing the Corporate Animal Welfare Policy, analysing poultry key welfare indicators (KWI) and aligning
them with EU legislation and international standards.
• Overseeing enterprise readiness for importing-country (interstate) competent-authority audits – including conducting
compliance self-assessments and preparing for inspections – and for supplier acceptance by key international customers.
• Coordinating registration of poultry farms with the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) under
updated KSA national requirements; achieving the first Saudi G.A.P. farm certification.
