Backend REST API for an online learning platform.

Description: RESTful backend API for an online learning platform supporting
authentication, course management, lesson management, enrollments, reviews, and
role-based authorization.
Highlights:
Implemented business logic for course enrollments, lesson access, lesson completion,
and course management.

● Developed role-based authorization with separate permissions for students,
teachers, and administrators.
● Designed and implemented a RESTful backend architecture using Express.js
and MongoDB.
● Structured the application using controllers, models, middleware, validators,
and services for maintainability.
● Secured API routes with JWT authentication and reusable authorization
middleware.
● Implemented request validation and centralized API error handling, including
invalid ObjectId validation.
● Implemented Redis caching for frequently requested course data with
TTL-based cache expiration.
● Containerized the backend with Docker and configured communication
between the API and Redis containers using Docker networks and environment
variables.
● Tested API endpoints with Postman and managed the project using Git and
GitHub.
● Configured environment-based secrets and project settings using .env and
.env.example.
