As a researcher, I am particularly interested in clinical psychology, personality psychology, neuropsychology and data
analysis in psychology. My research interests also include eating behaviour and cross-cultural psychology.

Cultural Crossroads. An Exploration into the Continued Engagement of Ukrainians with Russian
Culture: Open Questions and Emotions Analysis

This study aimed to examine the emotional and thematic responses of Ukrainians regarding their engagement or
disengagement with Russian culture in the ongoing conflict. The objective was to identify the key emotions and themes
driving these cultural interactions and to explore the role of demographic factors such as age and language.

Psychological wellbeing of Ukrainian civilians: a data report on the impact of traumatic events on
mental health

The study employed a cross-sectional quantitative design with a sample of 241 participants recruited through a self-
selected, convenience sampling approach via social media platforms. Participants completed a series of validated
psychological questionnaires, including the Brief Resilience Scale (BRS), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) for
depression, PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5), Generalized Anxiety Disorder scale (GAD-7), Insomnia Severity Index (ISI),
Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index. Data reliability and validity were assessed using
Cronbach’s alpha and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The findings indicate significant psychological distress across
the sample: approximately 70% of respondents reported poor sleep quality, and roughly 24% screened positive for
probable PTSD. High prevalence rates were also observed for moderate to severe anxiety and depression.
Furthermore, over 40% of the sample exhibited low resilience. While many scales demonstrated good reliability,
instruments such as the Alcohol Dependence Scale (ADS) and PSQI showed poor model fit or low convergent validity in
this specific context, suggesting cultural or contextual limitations in their application.
