• Introduced Service Layer and Repository Pattern to separate business logic from data access, and added DTOs for
typed data handling in complex operations.
• Built a caching layer with TTL strategy for third-party API responses (Vchasno, NBU, YouControl), cutting external

• Integrated Google reCAPTCHA v3 and rate limiting for bot/brute-force protection, with centralized SMS/call logging

Meest Maps - Geolocation Branch Search Service
• Independently designed and built a branch search service from scratch using Yii2 and React, integrated into the Meest
mobile app for end-user branch search.
• Implemented Elasticsearch for fast full-text branch search with parameter-based filtering.
• Built automatic user location detection and distance calculation to branches via the Google Maps API, with geodata
caching to reduce external API requests.
• Reduced customer support load by giving end users a fast, self-service way to redirect shipments arriving from abroad
