Evoplay is a company engaged in the development of games for online casinos. The
platform consists of many services and external API integrations. The architecture is

responsibilities: user registration and verification for trading platforms, Salesforce
integration, KYC/AML checks (Id3, Trulioo), lightweight CRM, payment gateways,

• Redesigned the architecture from a heavily customized WordPress/Zend setup to a
modern service‑oriented ecosystem, upgrading the proxy/authorization gateway to
Symfony and building a high‑performance REST API microservice on Lumen handling
~10,000 RPS.
• Implemented KYC/AML flows with Id3 and Trulioo, including sanction list checking
using fuzzy matching and name/surname permutations, and delivered 10+ external

Payboutique was initially a payment gateway for CIS countries (transfers between
payment systems and EU banks). After obtaining a banking license, we started a
greenfield subproject Clear Junction Limited (https://clearjunction.com) — a B2B
banking platform designed for integrations with 100+ banks and ~1M end customers,
targeting ~1,000 transactions per second.

Main achievements:
• Designed and implemented core services for Clear Junction (automated payment
processing, IBAN assignment) under strict PCI DSS requirements with ~100% PHPUnit
test coverage.
• Helped reshape the microservices architecture by consolidating 12 ultra‑granular
services into 6 macro‑services, simplifying deployment and improving performance for
a system targeting 100+ banks and ~1M clients.
• Designed the relational DB schema for enterprise user management and implemented
key financial logic (incl. transaction “unposting” with auto‑recalculation of accounting
stats) plus internal tools/ORM for the accounting team.
