PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Senior Full-Stack WordPress Developer with 9+ years of experience and 250+
delivered projects, specializing in custom WordPress architecture built on ACF PRO,
Gutenberg, and Elementor — used not as drag-and-drop tools but as a platform for
custom PHP widgets (OOP) and plugins that extend or sit on top of existing systems
rather than replace them. Deep WooCommerce expertise: custom pricing
calculators, variable products, and non-standard cart/checkout logic built around
each business's actual workflow.

Led a small development team of 2-3 engineers as technical lead — owning full site
delivery end to end, making the architecture calls, running code reviews, and being
the person accountable when something went wrong. Combined with independent
freelance work, this has meant direct client relationships across the Netherlands, the
US, Germany, Australia, Canada, Denmark, and beyond: scoping projects, negotiating
pricing and timelines, and resolving disagreement or scope conflict professionally
rather than escalating it.

Experience spans healthcare, construction, dental, and e-commerce (including a
peptides WooCommerce store) verticals across 6+ countries; platform migrations
(Shopify to WooCommerce, legacy redesigns with full SEO structure and URL
preservation intact) and complex content migrations (automating structured data
from Google Docs/Sheets into custom post types with per-post custom fields).
Comfortable with PHP performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and third-party
integrations. Actively uses AI tools, including Claude Code, to accelerate
development without compromising code quality.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Senior WordPress Developer (Freelance)
2023 – Present

● Delivered 90+ projects end-to-end for clients across Europe, the US, and

client's actual business rules, not plugin defaults.
● Executed platform migrations, including Shopify-to-WooCommerce moves

● Automated a complex content migration — structured data from Google
Docs/Sheets into a custom post type with per-post custom fields — built so
non-technical clients could run the process themselves going forward.

WHERE I'M HEADED

Moving toward a full Team Lead role: taking ownership of architecture decisions
across a team rather than a single project, setting coding and review standards other
developers work against, and mentoring engineers on the kind of long-term thinking
that keeps a codebase maintainable years after launch — not just at handoff.
