Avto.pro project. Led the Indicative Price team of 3–5 engineers. We developed a system for market analysis, fair price calculation for auto parts, and dumping detection. Combined team leadership with architecture and development of key modules.

Key achievements:
•Designed the architecture and algorithms for calculating fair prices for new and used auto parts. Defined calculation formulas, split the work into development tasks, and reviewed the results with the team. The system processed more than 50 million statistics every day.
•Led the development of an ASP.NET Core web application for analyzing price statistics and model results, and a REST API for internal projects.
•Led the development of a price statistics section for the marketplace with infographics, explanations, and recommendations for sellers and buyers.
•Optimized the anti-dumping system on the marketplace: moved a large amount of frequently used data from the main database to a file cache. This removed the load from the database and improved access speed to price statistics.
•Designed and developed an Integration API platform, separated from the internal API. Implemented authentication and authorization with JWT / API Key, rate limiting, integration with Avto.pro billing, a user account, and Swagger. The platform became a company-wide standard for launching paid and partner APIs.
•Built a hybrid infrastructure (on-premises + Azure) for resource-intensive research and testing new ideas. Moving calculations to local servers saved the company more than €10,000 in Azure costs. Other teams later used the same approach.

Following a restructuring, led the “Platform” engineering team, responsible for developing the marketplace’s shared infrastructure, modernizing legacy systems and improving development processes. After handing over leadership, continued to oversee the team’s work for about six months while also working on Vi.pro.

Key achievements:
•Designed and planned a phased migration of a legacy monolith from .NET Framework 4.6 to .NET 6–7. Broke down the work and assigned tasks to developers. Set up the infrastructure and launched a new application on a modern technology stack. New sections were built in this application, while existing components were migrated gradually, with releases at the end of each sprint. Key business sections were migrated and deployed to production, and migration templates were shared with other teams.
•Designed the architecture and developed the MVP for the “Online Stores” project — a storefront displaying an individual seller’s products, built on the marketplace’s core. Implemented custom domain and SSL certificate setup, system configuration, traffic routing and full-text search across auto parts descriptions. The initial solution was handed over to the product and SEO teams for further development.
•As part of the incident response team, resolved production incidents following releases or under heavy load. Identified and fixed the causes of slowdowns, high CPU usage and memory leaks. Also optimized the size and performance of key Microsoft SQL Server databases.

RDS project. «Recipient Donor Service» was a SaaS platform for large-scale analysis of websites and domains based on technical and SEO metrics. The distributed system collected data from search engines and external services, processed user-submitted and background jobs across multiple on-premises servers, and stored check results in its own database. Maintained and extended the existing legacy monolith, and designed and developed distributed architecture components, APIs, background services and integrations with external data sources.

Key achievements:
•Designed and developed a distributed job processing system using TPL Dataflow and the ActiveMQ message broker, with horizontal scaling across multiple servers. Migrated dozens of checks from the monolith to the new architecture. The platform processed over 1 million individual checks per day and batches of millions of background jobs.
•Developed ASP.NET REST APIs for job submission and validation, authorization and result retrieval. Implemented batch processing, caching and automatic rechecking of outdated data, reducing the load on external services, the message broker and the database. Maintained backward compatibility with existing API clients.
•Improved the reliability of asynchronous processing by resolving message loss during connection failures and implementing guaranteed delivery, retries and load management. Optimized batch data writes, stored procedures, queries and indexes in Microsoft SQL Server, and resolved blocking and other performance issues.
•Set up automated builds, testing and deployment to test and production servers in Jenkins, along with publishing shared libraries to a local NuGet repository. Performed load and integration testing and helped diagnose production incidents.
