PROFILE
I'm a sociable and enthusiastic person who genuinely enjoys working with people and keeping things running smoothly. I had my first taste of hospitality working as waiting staff at a local café back home in Ukraine, and honestly I loved it — the fast pace, the communication with customers, the teamwork, I feel it suited me. I'm now based in the UK, finishing off my ESOL Entry 3 and about to start a Level 2–3 Business course in September. I'm looking for a part-time role to work while studying where I can be useful from day one, keep learning, and be part of a good team.
EXPERIENCE
Waiting Staff Local Cafe, Ukraine 2024 (2–3 weeks)
– Welcomed customers and showed them to their tables — always made sure they felt at ease from the moment they walked in.
– Took orders for food and drinks, double-checked everything and passed it on to the kitchen clearly.
– Kept an eye on tables throughout service — topped up drinks, cleared plates, checked in without being annoying about it.
– Dealt with the odd complaint or special request calmly and sorted it out without needing to escalate.
– Helped tidy and reset the floor between sittings, and stayed behind to prep for the next shift when needed.

Volunteer – Confectionery & Sales Community Fundraiser, Ukraine 2022 (until 2024)
– Made handmade caramel sweets as part of a community fundraising effort during a really difficult time — it felt good to be doing something useful.
– Helped sell them locally, which meant lots of chatting to people, handling small amounts of money and just being friendly and approachable.

– Played guitar for 7 years and completed a full music school programme — so I actually finished something properly, which not everyone does.
