Headhunted and brought in to get arms around storage and backup operation for Tesco, managing two existing teams of on and offshore resources. Team 1 responsible for all aspects of UK storage, team 2 responsible for global backup, Thailand, Malaysia and India storage.
Built, recruited and developing a team of excellence for new backup product from UK and offshore resources deploying and managing new backup product in UK and globally in 2020.
I have contributed to Tesco deploying ‘Tesco Private Cloud’ a VMware based self-service on-prem cloud solution. I built a virtualised network team of technology experts in this field.
