•Ensure that the staff in the accounting department has the essential training, knowledge, equipments and other resources crucial for completing assigned responsibilities.
•Supervise the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing reports. Ensure that all statutory obligations have been duly prepared in the accounting reports.
•Studying financial statements of the organization and comparing actual outcome with the planned results. Noting the variations and giving suggestions to the organization management on reducing any deviations.
•Examining the financial statements and recognizing the inefficient operational areas and those with potential of higher gains.
•Preparing budget plans and allocating necessary resources to the highly efficient operational areas.
