Dutch SR sampling 2004-2005
As a part of the PhD research, in order to establish the content of valuable secondary materians in Dutch Shredder Residue Waste, a protocol for sampling and measuring was developed and 3 large samples tested – from HKSs Amsterdam, Amersfoort and Gravendeel.
Environmental Management System for hotels in Ukraine September 2009
In 2009, Green Dossier, requested the assistance of an expert for developing of an Environmental Management System (EMS) and certification scheme for small and medium size hotels in Ukraine. Together with the Green Dossier staff, the expert conducted a comprehensive review of the draft EMS. This resulted in a shift in focus to make the management system more attractive to the hotel trade by highlighting the potential economic and business benefits of joining the scheme. To test these ideas, Green Dossier staff and the expert interviewed the management of three small hotels in different parts of Ukraine.

InRuTou (Innovations in Rural Tourism) 2013 – 2015
“Green Dossier” was the Ukrainian partner in the project suported the European Commission’s LifeLong Learning Program, and implemented by international consortium under supervision of University of Applied Sciences (Krems, Austria). The project team has developed and tested a set of tools and innovative models for facilitating the development of sustainable tourism in rural areas, specifically in mountainous regions, by fostering a community consultation process, and for training selected opinion leaders to act as multipliers in enhancing community tourism planning via training existing and new local tourism operators, with various degrees of experience, professional and educational background.
Local hub in Berdychiv district April - July 2016
Co-author, part of international project "Local Research and Education Hubs - key for sustainability education"
Location 6 villages of Berdychiv rayon in Zhitomyr Oblast. Research, surveying of the locals and the district authority and municipalities. The results were discussed at the round table with the stakeholders based on SD principles. The real local needs were identified, difining the most critical/conflict points and possible solutions. As the result, recommendations for Berdychiv Rayon Regional sustainable development strategy were developed and taken into account by the authorities. The local students created an NGO to carry on the research on possible sustainable development of the district.
