3 – years experience in the humanitarian sector. Highly qualified and experienced security specialist, focused on comprehensive solutions, specializing in ensuring the safety of personnel and visitors in the area of the assignment, conducting program operations in accordance with safety and security guidelines, as well as risk management and mitigation. A highly diligent person with a mission-critical responsibility for “client-sensitive” work. Well orientated in the Southern region of Ukraine (for the last 9 years I have been working in the whole south of Ukraine and not only). During the last three years with Oxfam and IRC, I completed several Security related courses and training and, I'm a certified FIELD-READI training instructor (Training of staff to work in a particularly hazardous environment) as well as First Aid Сourse instructor.

Recent Career History:
Aug 2024 – Present: Humanitarian Access Safety and Security Officer, International Rescue Committee (Odesa-Ukraine)
Based in Odesa and work within the corresponding Offices with technical support from the HASS Department. Provide technical support to the team on all policies, procedures, guidelines and planning for safety, operational security. Support IRC in assessing, reviewing and updating safety documentation (SOPs, CPs, SMP) and hibernation and evacuation plans. Practical on-site drill for all relevant personnel. Conducting risk assessments of program locations, offices, residences and hotels. Responsible for tracking all movements in responsibility area. A part of the learning department as a FIELD Redi and First Aid trainer. Conduct three-day trainings for IRС staff in all offices in Ukraine. Compile and submit regular reports that track incidents and trends in local security contexts and daily contextual updates. Monitor the operating environment in the region, identify new threats, assess staff vulnerabilities and recommend possible responses.

Feb 2024 – Aug 2024: Humanitarian Access Safety and Security Assistant, International Rescue Committee (Odesa-Ukraine)
Part of the IRC’s team supplying humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people by providing safety and security support for staff including building the capacity of other national staff. Planned, organised, and managed all humanitarian access safety and security for the Odesa and Mykolaiv office, including, ensuring protocols and procedures are in place in the event of a security incidents, support in the rolling out and enhanced understanding of all staff including all-staff briefings and individual briefings; monitoring staff movement; maintaining an overview of all visitors to the field office; communications monitoring including satellite phones; checking on suitability of buildings including the office and field-site locations, including health and safety requirements of the office, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits for both office and vehicles, and emergency exits and shelters; conducting security assessments of new field locations for the programme and access to them. Ensured the implementation of recommendations. I regularly participate in INSO roundtables and OCHA security meetings. Acted as an interpreter when situation need this. Organised and conducted training for staff on working in highly hazardous environments.

Mar 2023 – Feb 2024t:Logistics Assistant, Oxfam Ukraine – (Odesa-Ukraine)
Part of the Oxfam’s team supplying humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people by providing logistical support for staff and partners including building the capacity of other national staff. Planned, organised, and managed all supply chain for the Odesa office including, procurement and contractual aspects projects. Maintained regular contact with suppliers and regularly reevaluated market to get best quality, prices, and service. Analysed contractor price/cost proposals, negotiated for best price and terms, and awarded and administered contracts. Participated in negotiations with senior supplier representatives. Took part in the preparation of acquisition, tender, and contract management plans and documentation. Planned all trips in territory of Ukraine and to Moldova direction. Managed all administrative issues in the Odessa office from transport to accommodation. Worked close with Country Safety and Security Coordinator (based in Kyiv) in the absence of a security focal point in Odesa. Conducting security/risk assessments and security management reviews in locations Oxfam is working or is considering working; either providing the Country Safety and Security Coordinator with recommendations for action or working directly to implement the action plan. Employed to drive Oxfam staff to locations across Ukraine, planning all routes, maintenance of the vehicle, keeping cash accounts of fuel and oils, and general vehicle husbandry such as servicing and repairs and tracking the milage. Managed all administrative issues in the Odessa office from transport to accommodation. Acted as an interpreter and translator when situation need this.

Regional accounts manager for the sale of professional cosmetics, and equipment for aesthetic medicine. Part of my job description covered Organisation and management of the client base. Planning and Implementation of the company sales plan. Planning and organising training workshops and presentations for clients. Management of client financial arrangements including debt recovery. Introduced new products to the client base. Maintaining all reports and documentation in electronic form CRM (customer relationship management). I am skilled in negotiation and successfully deal with objections. The ability to listen and take into account the interests of both parties contributed to the achievement of mutually beneficial agreements.
