Course & Payment Platform - LearnPress /WooCommerce / WayforPay

з 04.2026 по 07.2026 (4 місяці)
Freelance, Дистанційно (IT)

Delivered an online course platform end-to-end, evolving the scope from a basic course template into a full paid-enrollment system per the client's growing requirements.

Developed the website's visual concept and design direction from scratch, independently defining the UI/UX, page layouts, and visual details based on the client's requirements, as no pre-existing design or visual direction was provided.

Built on LearnPress with H5P for interactive course exercises, personally authoring the exercise content.

Migrated payment processing from PayPal to WayforPay by integrating LearnPress with WooCommerce via a paid add-on and configuring the WayforPay WooCommerce gateway, enabling automatic enrollment on purchase.

Customized student login/enrollment logic and the full styling of both the course pages and the student dashboard, built on a Kadence child theme.

Added a sequential course-progression add-on restricting access to lessons until prior ones were completed, per client request.

Tested the complete payment flow - successful, failed, pending, and refunded transactions - including live transactions with real funds.

Advised the client on hosting selection (Hostinger) and provided setup support.

Full Stack WordPress Developer (Middle)

з 05.2023 по нині (3 роки 6 місяців)
White Label Agency, Дистанційно (IT)

Built and customized 40+ WordPress websites on the agency's proprietary base theme (Foundation, Slick Slider, jQuery), adapting each to client-specific Figma designs with custom SCSS, PHP templates, and npm-based build tooling.

Developed content structures using ACF Flexible Content and Custom Post Types, implementing AJAX-based filtering on the majority of projects.

Built custom Gutenberg blocks (ACF Blocks with block.json, no React) on around 10 projects and custom Elementor widgets on projects using the page builder.

Fully customized several WooCommerce stores through hooks and filters to match client designs, including a multi-tier AJAX product filter with category and tag based sorting.

Optimized page speed based on PageSpeed Insights audits - converting images to WebP,
replacing fonts with WOFF2, and deferring or removing unnecessary scripts.

Migrated sites using All-in-One WP Migration; collaborated with QA (ClickUp) and clients (Userback) through the testing and revision cycle, and supported the support team on complex post-launch fixes.

Maintained and extended existing (non-agency-built) WordPress themes on ongoing client projects.
