This course taught by Professor David M. Crane, founding Chief Prosecutor of the UN
Special Court for Sierra Leone, focuses on the practice of modern international criminal
law, which finds its origins in the principles laid down at the International Military Tribunal
at Nuremberg.

DYNAMIC PRINCIPLES OF MORALITY IN THE EXAMINATION OF DESIGNATIONS, WHICH
ARE DECLARED AS TRADEMARKS AND THEIR TRANSFORMATION IN WAR CONDITIONS by
Dariia Sivchenko.

The purpose of these scientific theses is to analyze and consider the issue of public
morality through the prism of trademark registration in Ukraine in conditions of war. The
influence of military events on the perception by citizens of the country of advertising and
doing business, thoughts, and substantiation of morality or immorality of actions of
representatives of the business sphere regarding the promotion of goods or services is
analyzed. The article also considers the proposed amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On
Protection of Rights to Marks for Goods and Services" and the Law of Ukraine "On
Advertising" and whether these changes will have a positive impact on the public
perception of goods and services whose trademarks carry information about war crimes
