Опис вакансії

We’re searching for a Technical Support Engineer who will join the Kiev support team. The main task for the engineer will be ensuring the smooth operation of applications and processing requests that come from technical specialists on the client side through the ticket system and over the phone. The work is in shifts, a shift lasts 12 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing requests from technical specialists on the client side via a ticket system, email, and IM.
  • Working in 12-hour shifts (three work shifts and 3 days off).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience administering server systems (Linux, Windows Server)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
  • Understanding of the HTTP/HTTPS protocols
  • Experience configuring web services (IIS, Apache, nginx)
  • Experience administering database servers (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience administering Zabbix
  • Experience configuring and administering Cisco routers
  • Experience configuring and administering cloud services (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure)
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Jenkins, TeamCity
  • Responsibility
  • The ability to solve technical problems on the side server/network equipment/DB/service/etc. side
  • Ready to work in shifts (a shift lasts 12 hours)

Additional Competences:

  • Experience working for a hosting provider or in a technical support service for English-speaking customers will be a huge plus
  • Basic knowledge of .NET, Java, CDN
  • Broad-based knowledge of the IT field
  • Communicability
  • The ability to work in a team
