Requirements for the candidate:

• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• English level: C1
• Availability for morning and evening hours.
• Workload is 25 hours per week
• Contract is signed for 1 year

Salary groups at Profound:

Apprentice (candidates who need additional training, English level B2+): Individual classes: 200 Duo classes: 300.

Main salary range 1 (candidates who meet our requirements but do not have international certificates. The result of the interview and a trial class is considered). Individual classes: 250. Duo classes: 400.

Main salary range 2 (candidates who meet our requirements but do not have international certificates. The result of the interview and a trial class is considered). Individual classes: 300. Duo classes: 500.

Main salary range 3 (candidates who meet our requirements, have solid teaching experience, and possess international certificates like IELTS (7.5+), TOEFL (100+), CAE (185+). Individual classes: 350. Duo classes: 600.

Main salary range 4 (candidates who meet our requirements, have solid teaching experience, hold an international English language certificate IELTS (7.5+), TOEFL (100+), CAE (185+) and have maintained active cooperation with Profound for at least one year. Individual classes: 400. Duo classes: 700.

Premium salary range 1 (candidates must hold a specialised higher education degree or a CELTA (Pass B or A) and have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. In addition, candidates must hold an international English certificate such as IELTS (8.0+), CAE (193+), or TOEFL (109+). Alternatively, candidates may present two valid international certificates simultaneously (e.g. CAE (185+) + IELTS (7.5+)). Individual classes: 500. Duo classes: 800.

Premium salary range 2 (candidates must hold a specialised higher education degree or a CELTA (Pass B or A) and have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience. In addition, candidates must hold an international English certificate such as IELTS (8,5+), CAE (200+), or TOEFL (114+). Alternatively, candidates may present two valid international certificates simultaneously (e.g., CAE (193+) + IELTS (8+) or TOEFL (109+)). Individual classes: 550. Duo classes: 900.

Premium salary range 3 (candidates must hold a specialised higher education degree or a CELTA (Pass B or A) and have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience. In addition, candidates must hold an international English certificate such as IELTS (8,5+), CAE (200+), or TOEFL (114+). Alternatively, candidates may present three valid international certificates simultaneously (e.g., CAE (193+) + IELTS (8+) + TOEFL (109+)) and have maintained active cooperation with Profound for at least one year. Individual classes: 600. Duo classes: 1000.

Additional notes: The candidate’s rate depends on their credentials. Teachers cannot choose specific types of classes to conduct. Profound assigns lessons based on requests.

Support for teachers:

• Each teacher will have a mentor responsible for their performance, education, methodology, schedule, and financial planning.
• Teachers are responsible for conducting their classes.
• Profound provides materials necessary for lessons, including free subscriptions to platforms like Oxford Learner’s Bookshelf, NatGeo, and Pearson. Additional resources are available from ESL Brains, Linguahouse, and ENGhub.
• Teachers can request unpaid vacation for 1 week per season (3 months).
• Fixed rates are reviewed every 6 months.
• Fixed rates are reviewed after the IELTS exam, provided a score of at least 7.5 is achieved.
