Accountant / Financial Operations Specialist

Ocean of Parts is a rapidly growing U.S.-based wholesale distributor of OEM and aftermarket automotive parts. We supply repair shops, dealerships, fleet operators, and commercial customers across the United States. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for ambitious, analytical, and driven professionals to join our team.

Position Overview

Ocean of Parts is looking for a team player with fluent English and strong analytical skills. This position requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to the financial and operational success of the company.

Job Duties

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor customer accounts, balances, and payment status.
• Reconcile invoices, payments, and financial records while identifying discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and bookkeeping records.
• Enter company expenses into bookkeeping software.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Prepare reports on billing, collections, and financial activities.
• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and operational reports to identify opportunities for improving efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, credits, and account issues.
• Assist the CFO with financial analysis and other assigned projects.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records.
• Support daily administrative and operational activities as needed.
• Maintain a positive work environment while contributing to the company’s continued growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using bookkeeping or ERP software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Experience with inventory accounting or wholesale distribution is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is a strong plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
