Dispatcher (Expedite, US)

Responsibilities

1. Search and book loads using DAT Load Board and other load boards.
2. Negotiate rates with freight brokers.
3. Dispatch and coordinate Owner Operators.
4. Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery.
5. Resolve issues during transit and maintain communication with drivers and brokers.
6. Handle transportation documents, including Rate Confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and related paperwork.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and carriers.

Requirements

1. Minimum 4 months of experience as a U.S. Dispatcher.
2. Previous experience in Expedite Logistics is required.
3. Experience dispatching Sprinter Vans, Cargo Vans or Box Trucks.
4. Strong knowledge of DAT Load Board (experience with Sylectus and TruckStop is a plus).
5. Good spoken English with the ability to negotiate confidently with brokers.
6. Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
7. Reliable computer, headset, and stable internet connection.

Compensation

1. Base pay + % from profit — your earnings depend on your results.
