Modern Shop is a company operating in the U.S. trucking industry. We are expanding our operations and looking for a strong Dispatch Manager who will be responsible for managing the dispatch team, monitoring loads, working with brokers, and driving the team’s financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 12−13 dispatchers.
• Monitor every load in terms of profitability and financial performance.
• Monitor dispatchers' KPI and target achievement.
• Conduct comparative load analysis and select the most profitable opportunities.
• Work with brokers: negotiate, agree on terms, and resolve disputed issues.
• Resolve conflicts involving drivers, brokers, and other parties.
• Monitor the quality of the company’s service.
• Oversee the provision of service-related support.
• Handle claims and complaints.
• Resolve driver detention and compensation issues.
• Monitor updates for all loads.
• Work closely with the Update Team, which supports dispatchers and manages load updates.
• Oversee all operational processes within the Dispatch Department.
• Prepare weekly financial reports.
• Participate in interviews and recruitment of new team members.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and processes.
• Develop the team and improve dispatcher performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• U.S. trucking industry experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Team Lead / Supervisor / Manager in dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. trucking market.
• Hands-on experience working with loads and brokers.
• Ability to evaluate loads based on profitability.
• Experience handling claims and complaints.
• Ability to independently resolve conflict situations.
• English — confident working proficiency.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Stress-resistant and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong ownership of the team’s financial results.
• Ability to set tasks, monitor KPIs, and drive results.
• Confident leadership approach.
• Russian language is preferred.
• Experience managing large teams is a plus.
