Middle Legal and Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Middle Legal and Compliance Specialist to join our team and support the company’s legal, compliance, and risk management activities across international operations.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in Legal and Compliance who enjoys combining legal expertise with a practical, business-oriented approach. You’ll work across both internal and external matters, support the company’s day-to-day legal and compliance needs, and contribute to developing and strengthening our legal and compliance practices as the business grows. Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Corporate Law, or Risk Management, preferably in an international IT or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, intellectual property, software licensing, and IT commercial agreements.
• Practical experience with GDPR, CCPA/ CPRA, and other applicable data protection regulations, including advising business teams on privacy compliance.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating IT commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, and software licensing contracts.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining internal compliance policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Experience conducting legal research, monitoring regulatory changes, and assessing their business impact.
• Experience supporting internal and external compliance audits.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify legal and compliance risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Design, implement, and maintain internal compliance programs aligned with local and international regulations, including GDPR, CCPA/ CPRA, and other applicable compliance frameworks for EU/UK/US regions.
• Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and advise internal stakeholders on privacy-related matters.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and maintain commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Review new business processes, products, and services to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Perform internal compliance audits, identify legal and compliance risks, and report findings to Company Management.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assess their impact on company operations.
• Coordinate legal and compliance activities with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities when required.
• Support various departments by providing practical legal guidance on day-to-day business activities and projects.
• Educate and train employees on compliance requirements, legal updates, internal policies, and data protection regulations.
• Monitor company compliance with Microsoft Partnership Programs, ISO certifications, EU and U.S. regulations, and other applicable industry standards.
• Continuously improve internal legal and compliance processes, documentation, and governance practices.

Would Be a Plus

• Experience in an IT, SaaS, or software development company.
• Experience working with Microsoft Partnership Programs.
• Experience supporting ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 22301, SOC 2, or similar international standards.
• Experience with cloud services, SaaS products, and software licensing.
• Experience working with international customers and vendors.
• Professional certifications in Compliance, Privacy, or Risk Management (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO Lead Auditor)
