Business analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our product team as the owner of requirements and their lifecycle. You will make sure that what we build addresses the real needs of end customers and the business, and that every requirement is traceable from the original need through design and testing to delivered value. You will work in a matrix structure, partnering with the Product Manager and the R&D team, and influencing a wide range of stakeholders without formal authority. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and accountability for the quality, consistency, and integrity of the requirements baseline.

Responsibilities:

• Plan the business analysis approach for releases and engage stakeholders across business, product, and engineering

• Elicit, analyze, and validate business, user, and system needs through interviews, workshops, process and data analysis (As-is / To-Be), and gap analysis

• Specify and model requirements: functional and non-functional (NFR), user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, BPMN/UML models, data models, and interface and integration requirements

• Own the requirements repository as the single source of truth; prioritize and maintain the requirements backlog together with the Product Manager

• Manage the requirements lifecycle: unique identification, versioning, baselining,and bidirectional traceability

• Run the change control process: register change requests, assess impact on scope, interfaces, testing, and timelines, prepare decisions for the change control board, and keep a clear decision log

• Take part in reviews and configuration audits and verify that the delivered solution conforms to the approved baseline

• Support R&D and QA throughout delivery: clarify requirements, participate in reviews, and support acceptance (UAT)

• Evaluate the delivered value after release against agreed metrics and feed findings back into the product backlog

• Balance priorities and expectations of functional and product line management, resolving conflicts and escalating risks in time

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally on complex enterprise or large-scale systems

• Proven experience owning requirements across the full product lifecycle, including baselining, change control, and traceability

• Solid command of BABOK practices (elicitation and collaboration, requirements analysis and design definition, requirements life cycle management, strategy analysis)

• Practical skills in BPMN and UML; ability to model processes, data, and system interactions

• Experience writing high-quality functional and non-functional requirements for multi-stakeholder, multi-system environments

• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and within a matrix organization

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (or equivalents), including version history and audit trail; experience with Miro, Figma, or similar tools

• Understanding of APIs and integrations (REST, Swagger/OpenAPI); ability to read and discuss interface specifications with engineers

• Strong analytical and structured thinking, attention to detail, and discipline in documentation

• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including influencing without formal authority

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience in regulated or high-assurance industries
• Familiarity with configuration management and quality standards
• Experience with requirements management tools
• IIBA certification (CCBA/CBAP), or an agile analysis certification (IIBA-AAC)
• Product discovery experience and a metrics-driven approach to evaluating value
• Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis
