SmartProject | Senior DevOps Engineer September 2025 - Present
• Manage high-load production and non-production infrastructure for multiple mobile game projects across 100+
Linux servers, including bare-metal and VMware vSphere environments, with production on-call responsibility.
• Refactored and extended an existing Ansible-based Infrastructure as Code platform for different project layouts, from
single-host setups to distributed application, database, cache, messaging and analytics nodes.
• Improved end-to-end bare-metal provisioning, including server preparation, automated Ubuntu installation, networking,
users and SSH access, Docker, service setup and production-ready deployment.
• Automated new-project setup, including Ansible inventories and playbooks, DNS, secrets, deploy keys, Bitbucket
repositories and pipelines, environments, permissions and container registries. Personally onboarded 10+ new
projects.
• Designed host-aware memory limit automation using Ansible and real Prometheus data. Limits are calculated from
physical RAM, actual service placement and configurable service profiles for Redis, Java, PHP-FPM, RabbitMQ,
ClickHouse and ELK.
• Managed production MongoDB replica sets, Redis / Redis Cluster, RabbitMQ and ClickHouse, plus Docker-based
PHP, Java and Nginx environments.
• Built and maintained monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, Blackbox Exporter, Filebeat and ELK,
including a custom exporter for container status and runtime versions.
• Created an internal infrastructure overview service that combines host, environment, service configuration and live
Prometheus data, with automatic updates through CI/CD.
• Integrated the official ClickHouse MCP server into production with reusable Ansible automation, HTTPS reverse
proxy, secret management, read-only database access and query/resource limits. This made data access faster for
analysts and reduced manual engineering work.
• Created and documented procedures for historical Prometheus recording-rule backfills, infrastructure provisioning,
new-project onboarding and safe production operations.
• Managed AWS components with Terraform, including Route53, SSM Parameter Store, S3 and IAM, while Ansible was
used for server and service configuration.
Contract Project | DevOps Engineer May 2025 - September 2025
• Managed AWS infrastructure, including EC2, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Security Groups and related networking.
• Worked with Terraform to manage AWS and GCP infrastructure.
• Analyzed an existing production Kubernetes cluster in GCP and recreated it for staging using Terraform.
• The production cluster had no Helm charts or original Kubernetes manifests, so the setup was rebuilt from the running
environment, including workloads, services, configuration, networking and dependencies.
