About myself

MEAL/MEL Coordinator with experience working in both established and newly created area office contexts in
Ukraine. Experienced in strengthening existing MEAL systems, assessments, reporting, data quality, partner
monitoring, and learning processes, as well as building MEAL workflows from scratch for a new area office.
Currently leading MEAL set-up for Area Office North-East across Shelter, Protection, ICLA, and Education, including
outcome monitoring, partner logframes, ITT management, data management workflows, reporting systems, team
capacity building, and evidence-based programme adaptation.

Work experience

Area Office North-East
• Lead the development of MEAL workflows from scratch for the newly established Area Office North-East,
creating practical systems for data collection, storage, analysis, reporting, outcome monitoring, and
evidence-based decision-making .
• Establish area-level MEAL processes across multiple Core Competencies, including Shelter, Protection, ICLA,
and Education, ensuring each department has the tools, templates, workflows, and guidance required for
quality monitoring and reporting.
• Develop data management workflows for the new office, including tools for data collection, data storage,
indicator tracking, outcome monitoring, analysis, and use of findings by programme teams.
• Manage the full outcome monitoring cycle, including methodology design, tool development, team training,
data quality checks, analysis, debriefings, and follow-up with programme teams.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting processes for the Area Office, consolidating programme data,
validating achievements against targets, and producing analysis for management review and donor reporting.
• Support partnership processes through partner logframe development, Indicator Tracking Table
management, monitoring tool design, partner capacity building, and follow-up on outcome monitoring and
reporting requirements.
• Develop practical tools for further analysis and decision-making (both for Area and Country Management),
helping teams and partners improve data quality, monitoring consistency, reporting efficiency, and
evidence-based programme adaptation.
• Provide technical guidance to Shelter, Protection, ICLA, and Education teams on monitoring requirements,
safe data management, reporting workflows, data interpretation, and the use of MEAL findings.
• Build the capacity of the MEAL team through coaching, workshops, technical sessions, on-the-job support,
and regular guidance, with the goal of developing an independent, confident, and highly professional team.
• Foster a supportive and open team environment, creating a safe space for learning, feedback, professional
development, and communication.
• Contribute to programme planning and decision-making.
Area Office North
• Led MEAL coordination in an established area office, strengthening existing monitoring, evaluation,
accountability, and learning systems in line with NRC’s Global MEL framework, donor requirements, and
programme quality standards.
• Designed and led an end-to-end Needs Assessment for Shostka raion, including scope of work, methodology,
sampling approach, field tools, field visit coordination, data analysis, and donor-oriented reporting to inform
future programme design and proposals.
• Strengthened data quality and compliance processes, including GORS validation and correction workflows,
monthly, quarterly and annual report validation, indicator tracking, and verification of achievements against
project targets.
• Produced high-quality MEAL reports, dashboards, factsheets, and analytical products to support
evidence-based decision-making by programme teams, management, and grants colleagues.
• Provided MEAL inputs to project design, proposals, grants reporting, performance reviews, and donor
documentation, ensuring that indicators, monitoring approaches, and data sources were realistic, measurable,
and aligned with project objectives.
• Supported local partners by contributing to the scope of work development, aligning partner MEAL systems

with NRC and donor requirements, and providing technical guidance on monitoring, reporting, and data
quality
.
• Held line management responsibilities for MEAL staff, including task planning, technical supervision,
performance management , one-to-one meetings, recruitment support, and capacity development.
• Facilitated lessons learned discussions, programme review with Project Managers, Partnership, Grants to
ensure MEAL processes were integrated into project implementation and supported timely,
evidence-based decisions.

• Developed and maintained information management systems and participant databases to support data
collection, analysis, reporting, and programme monitoring.
• Designed and coded KoboToolbox questionnaires, implemented data validation checks, and ensured
compliance with data protection and safe information management standards.
• Produced analysis and reporting products for Shelter , ICLA, r-MPCA, and Emergency Response activities,
helping programme teams identify gaps, monitor progress, and reduce reporting time.
• Created Excel and Power BI dashboards for outcome monitoring and monthly reporting, including tools
used across NRC Ukraine .
• Coordinated GORS data validation and cross-checking, trained teams on accurate data entry , and
produced weekly/monthly progress reports comparing achievements against targets.
• Supported enumerator/data collector workflows, onboarding, technical training, service contract
documentation, and Officer-in-Charge responsibilities in the absence of the MEL Coordinator.

• Analysed sales and customer data, identified trends, and produced quarterly reports to support
management decision-making .
• Developed an Excel-basedforecasting model , improving KPI monitoring, data verification, and performance
