My responsibilities were managing the ‘Rates’ team (of 3 people). We were maintaining 3 microservices responsible for forming prices for our users. Developing new features, fixing bugs, discussing solutions, deploying, monitoring, i.e. all of microservices life cycle were in our responsibility.

• Built monitoring infrastructure from scratch, delivering 2 Grafana dashboards covering service health, latency, error rates and kubernetes statistics;

At Criteo, we connect 1.4 billion active shoppers with the things they need and love. Our technology takes an algorithmic approach to determining what user we show an ad to, when, and for what products. Our dataset is about 45 petabytes in Hadoop (more than 90 TB extra per day) and we take less than 10ms to respond to an ad request.
My team here in Criteo was focused on building SDK for other teams to base their codebase on. Building our in-house solution for flexible configuration of our systems, which is crucial for smooth version upgrades and A/B testing.

OneScreen was an ambitious project aimed at unifying the business processes of Telenor Group (a telecommunications company) in multiple countries. The goal was to replace standalone existing solutions in 7+ countries with a single OneScreen solution. It was able to offer the most of the functionality out of the box, while still allowing country-specific customizations. Technically it was a ASP.NET MVC application making use of EpiServer CMS functionality that is built on top of the backend REST API provided by a separate vendor.

As a Lead Architect I was responsible for all technical aspects on the project of 90 people, overseeing work of the architects team, CI/CD team and automated QA team.

The project was a software platform for collecting, analyzing and querying data on medical service providers in the USA. It consisted of several components that communicate using WCF services. The main services provided by the platform include:
• Provider data aggregation from various sources: text, csv, xlsx etc. files with different format are normalized and stored in several databases;
• Cleaning up the dirty data: duplicates and corruptions caused by the OCR. Complex ETL algorithm that includes fuzzy logic, address validation, name validation and complex data analysis is used to ensure best data quality;
• Provider search: system allows a highly customizable search based on all data accumulated in the databases;
• Provider benchmarking: using statistical information available to the system, it automatically assigns scores to the providers using a proprietary statistical algorithm;
• Generation of various reports based on accumulated data;
