PROFILE Lighting and look-development artist who came to CG from a live-action set — five years as a gaffer and
cinematographer before moving into 3D in 2022, so light, camera and frame are craft rather than theory.
Founder and art director of Contora, a Kyiv post-production studio: hands-on lighting, shading,
environments and render setup, with art direction over animation, FX and compositing. Led 70 VFX shots
on the feature film Killhouse, and builds the production tools the studio runs on.

2023–2026 Hobby Monsters animated commercial for Premiia, the most recognised private label in Ukraine
(Fozzy Group). Art direction, lighting, look-dev.

EXPERIENCE Founder, Art Director & Post-Production Producer
2023–present Contora — post-production studio, Kyiv
◦ Hands-on: lighting, look-dev, layered shaders, environment assembly and kitbashing, virtual
cinematography and render optimisation across all studio work.
◦ Rescue delivery: took over a project abandoned mid-production by another VFX studio — rebuilt all
roto and tracking, redesigned the art direction on 15 shots in two weeks, at half budget and already
past deadline. Delivered and accepted.
◦ Production: scoping, quoting, scheduling, crewing and client review handled directly. Team of up to 14;
one to two commercial projects delivered per month.
◦ Pipeline: wrote the studio’s production system — shot tracking, versioned review, client access —
replacing ShotGrid/ftrack-class tooling at no licence cost.

Blender plugins Katana-style proxy system for heavy scenes, fish-shoal simulation system, lighting
calculation helper.
Scenario Editor parses freeform text into industry-standard script formatting, extracting characters,
locations, dialogue and action.
