Dear Recruitment Team,

I am writing to express my interest in the position of Project Officer in Kharkiv.
I am currently working as a MEAL Manager in a humanitarian project focused on the protection and support of women affected by gender-based violence and women facing difficult life circumstances. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of the humanitarian sector and, most importantly, of how project activities can respond to the real needs of people and communities.
My current responsibilities include monitoring project activities, working with beneficiary data, analysing results and indicators, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. Through this work, I have become increasingly interested in taking a more active role in project implementation and coordination. I would like to build on my current MEAL experience by taking a more active role in project implementation and coordination.
My previous professional experience also provides a strong foundation for this position. I have many years of experience in research and analytical work, preparation of reports and professional documents, coordination of activities, work with large amounts of information and collaboration with different stakeholders. My legal and research background has developed my attention to detail, analytical thinking, ability to identify problems and propose practical solutions. At the same time, my current humanitarian experience has strengthened my understanding of project monitoring, beneficiary data, accountability and the importance of adapting interventions to actual needs.
What particularly motivates me about humanitarian work is the opportunity to see the practical results of my efforts. I want my professional work to be useful to people and communities and, ultimately, to contribute to my country. For me, it is important to see that even a small result achieved today – a person receiving needed support, a community becoming better protected, or a project becoming more effective – can have real value. At the same time, I believe that many small results, achieved consistently and professionally, can lead to significant and lasting change.
I am especially interested in this opportunity because the position combines several areas in which I have developed strong skills: project monitoring and analysis, reporting, coordination, communication with stakeholders, data management and administrative support.
