ABOUT ME

Fourth-year Law student at the Ukrainian Catholic University with experience in legal practice, operations and client
communication. Ambitious, results-driven and a fast learner who quickly picks up new tools, processes and subject
areas. I can process large volumes of complex information, identify what matters and turn it into clear, structured

UCU French Summer School

Write here the description...I completed an intensive two-week French language programme taught by native speakers,
which focused on both grammar and spoken French. Through structured lessons and practical exercises, I deepened
my knowledge of French grammar and improved my accuracy in written and spoken language. Daily conversation
practice and interactive classes with native-speaking instructors helped me build fluency and confidence in speaking.
Throughout the programme, I prepared and delivered numerous projects, presentations and public speeches in
French, which strengthened my ability to structure ideas clearly and present them to an audience. I also communicated
extensively with faculty of the Catholic University of Lille (France), gaining valuable experience of academic interaction
in an international, French-speaking environment. Upon completion of the programme, I was awarded a certificate.

2024
UCU – Catholic University of Lille (France) Joint Conference |

I took part twice in a joint conference held within the academic partnership between the Ukrainian Catholic University
and the Catholic University of Lille (France). Each edition lasted three weeks, which allowed for in-depth academic work
rather than a one-off event. The conference gave me the opportunity to join an international academic environment
and to exchange experience with students and faculty from France. Together with other participants, I examined
current legal issues from a comparative perspective, analysing how they are approached in the continental legal
tradition and in international law. This experience strengthened my ability to engage in academic discussion in a
multicultural setting, to present and defend my position before an international audience, and to look at legal
problems beyond a single national framework.

PROJECTS

05/2025 – CURRENT
UCU Moot Court Community

In 2025, I took part in a competitive general selection process to join the UCU Moot Court Community, which brings
together students who represent the university in international moot court competitions. Out of all applicants, only 8
candidates were admitted, and I was one of them. Membership in the community opened the way to further selection
for specific competition teams and gave me access to an environment focused on legal research, written advocacy and
public speaking at an international level. I currently serve as Vice President of the community, where I help organise
selection rounds for new members, coordinate the work of the teams, support preparation for competitions and
represent the community within the university.

08/2025 – 06/2026
IBA ICC Moot Court

After joining the community, I went through a separate selection to join the UCU team for the IBA ICC Moot Court, a
prestigious international competition that simulates proceedings before the International Criminal Court. Preparation
involved in-depth work with the Rome Statute, international humanitarian law and ICC case law, drafting memoranda
on behalf of the Prosecution, Defence and Government, and intensive oral advocacy training. In June 2026, I
represented the university at the international rounds held at Leiden University in The Hague, Netherlands, where I
pleaded before judges who are practitioners of international criminal law.

07/2026 – CURRENT
EU Law Moot Court

I am currently a member of the UCU team for the EU Law Moot Court, an annual international competition that
simulates proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union. Preparation involves analysing EU law and
CJEU case law, working with directives and regulations, drafting procedural documents in English and French, and
delivering oral pleadings in international rounds abroad.
